A collection of Wisconsin's best artisan cheeses, paired with The Wisconsin Whey, the 2025 book on the cheesemakers of the Driftless Region. Southwestern Wisconsin is called the Driftless Region because, unlike the rest of the state, glaciers never scraped it flat. Its rolling hills and valleys are home to more cheesemakers than anywhere else in the country. This box pairs our cheeses with two of the very best: the Hook and Roelli families, who both make cheese down the road from our farm.
The box contains a copy of The Wisconsin Whey, a 200-page hardcover profiling 12 Driftless cheesemakers; a half-pound of Pleasant Ridge Reserve; one Rush Creek Reserve; a half-pound of Hook's 10-Year Cheddar; a half-pound of Roelli's Red Rock, a natural-rinded cheddar laced with subtle blue veining; and a 4-oz jar of Fortune Favors Candied Pecans.

Keep refrigerated at 38–42°F. Bring to room temperature before serving. Pleasant Ridge Reserve can be stored for several weeks but is at its peak within a couple of weeks of its receiving date. Rush Creek Reserve is meant to be enjoyed as a young cheese and should be consumed by the best-by date printed on the label of the wheel.
