Delivery
Perishable orders ship Monday through Wednesday only to avoid weekend transit delays. In your cart, you can select a preferred week of delivery. We'll hold your order and ship so it arrives during that window. Need additional support? Email us at orders@uplandscheese.com with any additional information you think we may need to process your order.
Shipments over $125 qualify for free shipping.
Each order ships to one address, so place a separate order for each recipient. For larger gift lists, email orders@uplandscheese.com and we'll help you get everyone taken care of.
Not at this time. We ship anywhere in the United States but do not have the ability to ship our cheese internationally.
Storage
Store cheese in the refrigerator, ideally in a crisper or drawer with some humidity control. Paper-wrapped pieces of Pleasant Ridge Reserve purchased from our website do best when kept in the paper until you're ready to serve them, and then sealed in a resealable plastic bag or container to maintain freshness and prevent drying out. Once opened, return the cheese to the paper (or re-wrap in wax or parchment paper) and put it into the plastic bag; for the best experience, aim to consume the remainder of the cheese within 7 days. Rush Creek Reserve is best kept refrigerated and in its original paper wrapping until it is ready to be served — it does not need any additional storage considerations.
We recommend consuming Pleasant Ridge Reserve as close to the date of receipt as possible, but it can be stored in refrigeration for up to 90 days from the time it was cut at our creamery. Rush Creek Reserve comes with a set best-by date on each cheese — we recommend consuming the cheese by that date for an optimal experience, as it is meant to be enjoyed young. We do not recommend freezing cheese, as it compromises the texture and sensory characteristics that make it so special.
Remove from the refrigerator 45–60 minutes before serving to allow the cheese to come to room temperature. This unlocks the full flavor and aroma of the cheese. Slice with a sharp knife and serve with your favorite pairings — we are especially fond of crusty bread and something savory like charcuterie or nuts to offset Pleasant Ridge Reserve's deeply sweet nature.
Rush Creek Reserve is best served lightly warmed — either place it in a very low oven (300°F) for 15 minutes or leave it at room temperature for 60 minutes to help soften it up. Remove the top rind and serve it right out of the spruce bark container. Scoop the soft interior onto bread or crackers with a spoon. It's perfect with a crisp off-dry white wine or bubbles.
